• Scanner is recently serviced and ready to go, new belts, washers and lube installed in late 2022 by previous owner (no documentation)
• This 848 one of the the most advanced, fastest scanners Imacon/Hasselblad ever made
• The FIREWIRE port on this scanner IS WORKING as it should
• We STRONGLY recommend running this on a PC/Windows machine. You can use this scanner with any Windows OS: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10 and 11
• This scanner is compatible with the latest version of Flexcolor and can be used on any current or older computer system. Note that since Apple does not allow backwards compatibility with any legacy hardware this scanner requires an older Apple OS to work correctly, we know nothing about MAC so cannot help you figure this out. We suggest working on a reliable and cheap OFF LINE (no internet) PC computer which is running windows XP, the most stable OS ever made
• We are happy to help set up and install this scanner on any PC machine, sorry, we cant help you with a MAC install. We are happy to provide a basic tutorial on using this scanner (45 minutes) at no cost
